Safety operating procedures for CNC desktop drilling machines:
1. Before use, check if all components are functioning properly.
2. The drill bit and the workpiece must be clamped tightly and cannot be held by hand to prevent accidents caused by the rotation of the drill bit and equipment damage.
3. Concentrate on the operation, the rocker arm and drag plate must be locked before working. When loading and unloading the drill bit, do not use a hammer or other tools or objects to strike it, nor use the spindle to hit the drill bit up and down. Use a dedicated key and wrench for loading and unloading, and the drill chuck must not clamp the conical handle drill bit.
4. Drilling thin plates requires the addition of wooden boards, and the thin plates should be sharpened. And adopt a smaller feed rate. When the drill bit is about to penetrate the workpiece, the feed rate should be appropriately reduced and pressure should be applied lightly to avoid breaking the drill bit, damaging the equipment, or causing accidents.
5. When the drill bit is in operation, it is prohibited to use cotton yarn and towels to wipe the drilling machine and remove iron filings. After work, the drilling machine must be wiped clean, the power supply must be cut off, and the parts stacking and work site must be kept neat and tidy.
6. When on the workpiece or drill bit, the drill bit should be lifted. Cut it off and stop drilling before using specialized tools to remove the cutting.
7. Drilling must be carried out within the working range of the drilling machine, and drill bits exceeding the rated diameter should not be used.
8. When changing the position of the belt and changing the speed, the power must be cut off.
9. If any abnormal situation occurs during work, the vehicle should be stopped for further processing.
10. Operators must be familiar with the performance, purpose, and operating precautions of the machine before operating. It is strictly prohibited for novices to operate the machine alone.
11. Staff must wear appropriate clothing and gloves are strictly prohibited.
